For our 230V needs we use a 2000W pure sine wave inverter that doubles as a 20A charger. The inverter has enough power for all of our 230V devices, like our induction cooktop, our electrical boiler. The charger is meant as a backup in case the solar panels do not produce enough energy, which has happened once while we were still building the van.
